ESG is an unstoppable growth trend right now, says Citi. That comes from the compliance from governments such as China and the US and those in Europe, who are finally putting their money where their mouth is. David Bailin, chief investment officer at Citi Global wealth emphasized millennials and their ESG desires: "They care about sustainable and responsible investing."
The newest part of that ESG movement could be cybersecurity. This year an attack crippled the U.S. oil economy and delivery system on the east coast. Bailin emphasized that cybersecurity has a government component and is an area of concern.
